Structural Columns
A structural column is the part with a 4-1/2 inch steel post in the center. The published maximum safe load for that steel core is 10,000 pounds. A hollow shaft is a different part and does not carry the porch. These structural columns are cast in high-density polyurethane around that core, factory-primed, and ready to paint.
