This is the official online store for Spectis moulding in the United States. We are the USA distributor. Your card statement will show Veritas Products. Every order ships from the Spectis plant in Manitoba, Canada. There are no stocking dealers in the USA or Canada.
High density polyurethane
Spectis cuts, nails, and glues like wood, and it is used inside and outside. Installed correctly, it will not rot. It has been used on high-profile projects across the country, including the White House.
- Will not rot, warp, or crack.
- Double primed white, ready to paint or stain.
- Install with PL Premium adhesive and finish nails or screws. Adhesive, nails, and finish are sold separately.
- PL Premium is required on every bedding and butt joint. Other adhesives can damage the urethane.
Shipping
The order is sent to the plant the same day. Spectis usually issues an order number within one business day. Smaller pieces ship UPS. Anything over 72 inches ships by freight.
Anything over 7 feet has to go by freight, and that costs more. On smaller orders we can cut the piece in half. A 12-foot piece ships in a wooden crate.
The shipping prices on the site are for a commercial business address. A residence has $250 added after checkout. Ship 12-foot pieces to a business address when you can.
Call 800-986-1250 before you check out a large order. Shipping is often lower, and on some orders it is free. Call too if the shipping price looks far too high.
Questions
How long does it take?
About two to three weeks to ship. UPS for pieces that fit. Freight for anything over 72 inches.
How do I glue it?
Use PL Premium adhesive only. It is polyurethane based. Other adhesives can eat the urethane. Premium adhesive is required on every bedding and butt joint.
Can I return it?
No. Pieces are made to order. With thousands of molds, they are not stocked.
Will it rot?
No. It is high density polyurethane, made for the weather. Installed properly, it will not rot.
What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect it when it is delivered and tell the carrier right away so they can file a claim. Email sales@spectis.us the same day. If we are not told within 24 hours, Spectis cannot qualify the items for a claim.
Why is 12-foot shipping so high?
A 12-foot piece cannot go by regular parcel service. It ships by freight, in a wooden crate, which costs more. The site prices are for a commercial address. A residence has $250 added after checkout.
