RAL2100 Railing System: Choose Your Baluster and Length

Choose from 15 baluster model-and-height combinations in 8, 10 or 12 foot rail lengths. Each set includes one RAL2100T top rail, one RAL2100B bottom rail, the matching balusters listed below, and rail pre-drilling. Components ship unassembled, primed white and ready to paint.

A note about the custom 9-inch spacing

The BAL2027-22 option retains its custom 9-inch-on-center layout. That spacing exceeds the manufacturer's listed 6 11/16-inch maximum repeat for this baluster and is not presented as a code-compliant guard assembly. Confirm the intended use, finished installation height, openings and local requirements for your project before ordering.

What assembly height means

Assembly height is measured from the bottom face of the bottom rail to the top of the top rail. It equals the baluster body height plus 11 inches for the two rails. It excludes clearance below the bottom rail and the height of newel posts or caps. Baluster mounting pins seat inside the rails and do not add to this dimension.

*BAL2090-15, BAL2052-18 and BAL2036-22 use 18, 22 and 26 evenly distributed balusters. Center-to-center spacing is approximately 5.333, 5.455 and 5.538 inches for 8, 10 and 12 foot rails. The first and last centers are half that distance from the rail ends.

Pre-drilling is included

The selected price includes pre-drilling at $6 per baluster for the rail set. There is no separate drilling charge to add. Sets with 16 / 20 / 24 balusters include $96 / $120 / $144 of drilling; sets with 18 / 22 / 26 include $108 / $132 / $156. The custom BAL2027-22 set includes $60 / $78 / $96 for 10 / 13 / 16 balusters.

Rail dimensions and installation

Both rails measure 7 inches at their widest point and 5½ inches high, with 5½-inch-wide baluster seating faces. The listed baluster ends fit within those faces. Rail lengths are nominal component lengths; newel posts are not included in that length.

Newels, caps, mounting hardware, adhesive and support blocks are sold separately. Follow Spectis installation instructions, including the specified adhesive at bedding and butt joints. Confirm the complete installation layout, support and fastening details before ordering or cutting. These product dimensions and illustrations do not certify a complete installation for use as a guard.

Made to order and freight

Made-to-order products cannot be returned. Long rail sections ship by LTL freight. Delivery requires a verified commercial address accessible to a 52-foot trailer. A $275 residential fee applies when the carrier classifies the address as residential. Contact us for production timing and freight arrangements.
