BL2796R-10/12 Capped Ogee Block – Right Pitch
10/12 pitch: 10 inches of rise per 12 inches of run. Drawing dimensions: sloped top width 9 15/16 inches, overall height 11 1/16 inches, projection 11 7/16 inches. Profile height is 5⅛ inches measured across the slope. Use this pitched version's drawing to confirm fit.
BL2796R-10/12 is a capped cove eave block made from high-density polyurethane for interior and exterior decorative applications. It is cut for a 10/12 roof pitch and slopes down to the right (10″ rise per 12″ run); a matching left-pitch version is listed separately. It arrives primed white and ready for finishing. Check the profile drawing and dimensions against your installation space before ordering.

If it goes by freight
Freight needs a verified commercial address that a 52-foot trailer can pull into. A house with a business in it does not qualify. If the carrier calls the address a residence, a $275 fee is added. You get a confirmation letter, and you can correct the address or pay the extra freight.
How long
The order goes to the Spectis plant in Manitoba the same day. Shipping from Canada typically takes two to three weeks.
Check the fit
Allow for the full 11 7/16″ projection, 11 1/16″ height and 9 15/16″ width. Projection measures how far the piece extends from the wall. Check the available overhang and compare the CAD drawing with your mounting space. Confirm your roof pitch (10/12) and which side the slope falls to before ordering.
Installation & finishing
- Fit the piece to a clean, solid mounting surface. Do not install over wallpaper.
- Use PL Premium adhesive on every bedding face and joint, with the recommended screws or finish nails.
- Follow Spectis finishing instructions and paint promptly after installation. Fasteners and finish are sold separately.
- This product is decorative. Do not use it to carry a beam, swing, or other structural load.

What is it made of?
High density polyurethane. It cuts, nails, and glues like wood, and it is used inside and outside. Installed properly, it will not rot, warp, or crack. It ships double primed and ready for latex paint. No sanding, and no extra primer.
Can this go outside?
Yes. Most of these are used under an eave. The same material is used inside. Do not set it over wallpaper.
Which glue?
Use PL Premium on every bedding face and every joint. It is urethane based. Other adhesives can damage the product. Buy PL Premium. Nails and finish are sold separately.
Can I hang weight from it?
No. It is decorative. It is not a structural support. Do not hang a swing, a beam load, or anything else from it.
Can I return it?
No. It is made for your order. Confirm the profile against the drawing before you buy.
Which pitch do I need?
This piece is cut for a 10/12 roof, sloping down to the right. Measure the rise over a 12 inch run on your roof and check which way the slope falls where the piece will sit. Left and right versions are separate listings.
Will this ship to my house?
A few pieces usually ship by parcel. This profile is larger than about 10 to 12 inches, so a large quantity may have to go by LTL freight. What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect it when it is delivered and tell the carrier right away so they can file a claim. Email sales@spectis.us the same day. If we are not told within 24 hours, Spectis cannot qualify the items for a claim.
