Delivery address
LTL freight requires a verified commercial address accessible to a 52-foot trailer. A house with a business in it does not qualify. If the carrier classifies the address as residential, a $275 fee is added. A confirmation letter lets you correct the address or pay the extra freight.
How long
The order goes to the Spectis plant in Manitoba the same day. Shipping from Canada typically takes two to three weeks.
Check at delivery
Inspect the shipment on arrival and notify the carrier immediately of damage. Email sales@spectis.us the same day. Report damage within 24 hours for claim qualification.
Check the fixture fit
The mounting pipe extends 1¾″ above the post. Confirm your light fixture’s mounting connection fits the 3″ O.D. galvanized steel pipe before ordering.
LP3700 comes with a 3″ O.D. galvanized steel pipe. The pipe extends 1¾″ above the post for attaching the light fixture.
Installation & finishing
- Use the LP3700 drawing and manufacturer installation instructions to plan the post mounting and fixture attachment.
- Have electrical wiring and the light fixture installed according to the fixture instructions and applicable local requirements.
- Use ADH100 adhesive on bedding and butt joints. Paint after installation.
- This lamp post is not offered with the decorative split-column option.
