3½" Slim Railing System
A slim rail of about 3½" for stair landings, small stoops, interior balconies and budget-friendly porch railings. RAL2104 is the economical top/bottom pair, and RAL2125 is a taller 3½" alternative.
What goes into each railing section
- Rails: one top rail and one bottom rail per section from the RAL2104, RAL2125 family. They come in 8, 10 or 12 ft lengths and are cut to fit between posts.
- Balusters: 25 Spectis baluster styles whose own product listings say they fit these rails. Spacing follows the 4-inch sphere rule.
- Newel post and cap: No newel post or cap is matched to these rails in our listings yet. Ask us for a recommendation.
- Installation pieces: One KIR02 rail kit per top/bottom pair, and SUP01 (4") or SUP02 (2") support blocks.

Finished height ≈ support block + bottom rail (3.125") + baluster + top rail (3.125"), using RAL2104 dimensions. This is a planning estimate only. Check local code (typically 36" for homes and 42" for guards) and the drawing for each part before ordering. Rails end at newels, columns or walls and are never joined to one another.
