KIR02 Railing Hardware Kit – 2″ Aluminum L-Brackets

The Spectis KIR02 railing hardware kit connects compatible handrails to newel posts using prepunched aluminum L-brackets and matching fasteners. Its 2-inch-wide brackets are selected to fit the rail profile.

Catalog rail matches: RAL 2102, RAL 2104, RAL 2110, RAL 2116, RAL 2120, RAL 2121, RAL 2122, RAL 2123, RAL 2125. Confirm your exact rail model and attachment detail before ordering.

Choose the correct version

Bracket width is measured across the rail connection. This standard KIR02 kit is distinct from the separately designated flipped-bracket F version.

Newel anchoring uses a separate KIN kit selected for the post and wood or concrete mounting surface.

Installation planning

Plan the connection

Follow the Spectis instructions for the complete railing assembly and the mounting substrate. Confirm hardware placement, kit quantities, and any additional project-specific fasteners before ordering.

Complete the assembly

Order rails, balusters, newels, caps, and adhesive separately. Use the specified adhesive on bedding and butt joints in the surrounding Spectis components. Read the handrail installation notes.

Hardware-only orders

A hardware kit on its own typically ships UPS. Shipping from Canada typically takes two to three weeks; confirm timing for your order.

Orders with long rails

Orders containing long rails ship LTL freight. Freight requires a verified commercial address accessible to a 52-foot trailer. A house with a business in it does not qualify.

Residential freight

If the carrier classifies the address as residential, a $275 fee is added. You receive a confirmation letter so you can correct the address or pay the extra freight.

Check the delivery

Inspect the shipment when it arrives and report damage to the carrier. Email sales@spectis.us the same day; the store requires notice within 24 hours for a damage claim.

Spectis Moulders Inc. warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five years from date of purchase, to the original end user, when used and installed under recommended conditions.
