The profile is molded, not cut from wood. A baluster is the spindle between the top rail and the bottom rail. It is part of a system. The card on this page names the RAL rails it fits.
Rails that fit

Ball rule
On a guard, space the balusters so a 4 inch sphere cannot pass. Along open stairs the opening can be large enough for a 4 3/8 inch sphere. The triangle under the stair guard, where the bottom rail meets the riser and the tread, can pass a 6 inch sphere. A residential guard is generally at least 36 inches high, and a stair handrail sits 34 to 38 inches above the nosing. That is the spacing used in the International Residential Code and the International Building Code. Check the code where the rail will be built. The ball rule is for a guard. It does not apply to a decorative roof or to a piece sold as decoration only. The card also shows the max repeat, which is the widest center spacing drawn for this baluster.

A baluster by itself typically ships UPS.
A long rail, or a system bought together, ships LTL freight. Most orders are the rail, the balusters, and the newels.
Freight needs a verified commercial address a 52-foot trailer can pull into. A house with a business in it does not qualify. If the carrier calls it a residence, a $275 fee is added.
The order goes to the Spectis plant in Manitoba the same day. Shipping from Canada typically takes two to three weeks.
How it goes up

What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect it when it is delivered and tell the carrier right away. Email sales@spectis.us the same day. If we are not told within 24 hours, Spectis cannot qualify the items for a claim.
