CM2424S-33 Smooth Stepped Ceiling Medallion
CM2424S-33 is a smooth stepped ceiling medallion, 32½″ across with a 1″ center opening and 2⅛″ depth. It is poured in high-density polyurethane and ships primed white, ready for paint.

Ships by LTL freight
At 32½″ across, CM2424S-33 is 25 inches or larger, so it does not ship by UPS. It travels by LTL truck freight, which costs more than a parcel shipment.
Check the delivery address
Freight needs a verified commercial address with access for a 52-foot trailer. A home business is considered residential. If the carrier classifies the address as residential, a $275 fee applies.
Allow time for production
Orders go to the Spectis plant in Manitoba the same day. Production and shipping from Canada typically take 2–3 weeks. Contact us before ordering if your project has a deadline.
Check the fit
The outer diameter is the size of the medallion. The center hole is listed separately; do not order by the hole size.
Size the medallion to the room and the fixture. Compare the drawing with your ceiling and the fixture canopy before ordering.
The 1″ center hole passes the electrical box wiring. Check that your fixture canopy is wider than 1″ so it covers the opening, and allow for the 2⅛″ depth when setting the canopy and chain length.
Installation & finishing
- Turn off power at the breaker and remove the fixture before fitting the medallion.
- Bed the back with ADH100 adhesive and fasten into the ceiling framing with finish nails or screws. Fill the holes.
- The medallion is decorative; it does not carry the fixture. Support the light from the electrical box as usual.
- Paint promptly after installation with latex paint. The factory-primed surface needs no extra primer.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Is there a warranty?
The Spectis warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for five years for the original end user when the product is used and installed under recommended conditions.
