MD1005 Crown Fascia Moulding
MD1005 crown fascia moulding features a wide, flat upper face above a curved lower profile. It creates a clean architectural band with a softer transition beneath, measuring 10 inches high with a 5-inch projection. Each 12-foot length is made from high-density polyurethane and arrives factory-primed white.

Ships by freight
The 12-foot lengths travel in a crate by LTL truck freight. Full-length pieces cannot ship by standard parcel service.

Check the fit
Projection measures how far the installed moulding extends from the wall. Height measures its vertical rise.
Allow for the full 5″ projection and 10″ height. Check the available depth and the adjoining trim before installation. Compare the PDF profile drawing with your space before ordering.
The drawing divides the profile into a 6¼″ upper section and a 3¾″ lower section. Check both the overall height and the curved return against the space available.
Installation & finishing
- Fit the moulding to a clean, solid mounting surface. Do not install over wallpaper.
- Cut and fasten with standard woodworking tools. Use ADH100 adhesive on every bedding face and butt joint, with the recommended screws or finish nails.
- Finish the factory-primed surface according to Spectis instructions and paint promptly after installation. Fasteners and finish are sold separately.

Can I use it indoors and outdoors?
Standard MD1005 is suitable for interior and exterior trim. Deco-Flex is offered for interior curved applications. Confirm the required curve before ordering.
Does it need painting?
MD1005 arrives factory-primed and ready for finishing. No extra primer or sanding is normally needed before painting. Follow the Spectis finishing instructions and paint promptly after installation.
Which adhesive should I use?

How does a 12-foot length ship?

What if my order arrives damaged?
Inspect the shipment at delivery, report damage to the carrier immediately, and email sales@spectis.us the same day. Our shipping policy requires notification within 24 hours to qualify items for a claim.
Is there a warranty?
The Spectis warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for five years for the original end user when the product is used and installed under recommended conditions.
