Description
MD1003 Dentil Crown Moulding
MD1003 dentil crown moulding pairs a layered crown profile with a row of square dentil blocks and a broad lower band. Its 17¾-inch height and 11 5/16-inch projection suit architectural details with room for a substantial cornice. Each 12-foot polyurethane length arrives factory-primed white.
Plan your order & delivery
Made for your project
MD1003 is made to order and cannot be returned. Confirm the profile, dimensions and quantity before purchasing. A sample-cut option is available above.
Ships by freight
The 12-foot lengths travel in a crate by LTL truck freight. Full-length pieces cannot ship by standard parcel service.
Check the delivery address
Use a verified commercial address with access for a 52-foot trailer. A home business is considered residential. If the carrier classifies the address as residential, a $275 fee applies.
Allow time for production
The current estimate is typically 2–3 weeks from the order date. Contact us before ordering if your project has a specific deadline.
Check the fit
Projection measures how far the installed crown extends from the wall. Height measures its vertical rise.
Allow for the full 11 5/16″ projection and 17¾″ height. For exterior installations, check the available soffit depth. Compare the PDF profile drawing with your space before ordering.
The drawing shows 3 3/16″ square dentils on a 7″ repeat. Plan the layout before cutting so the dentil spacing continues neatly across joints.
Installation & finishing
- Fit the moulding to a clean, solid mounting surface. Do not install over wallpaper.
- Cut and fasten with standard woodworking tools. Use ADH100 adhesive on every bedding face and butt joint, with the recommended screws or finish nails.
- Finish the factory-primed surface according to Spectis instructions and paint promptly after installation. Fasteners and finish are sold separately.
