Plan your order & delivery

Made for your project

MD1015 is made to order and cannot be returned. Confirm the profile, dimensions and quantity before purchasing. A sample-cut option is available above.

Ships by freight

The 12-foot lengths travel in a crate by LTL truck freight. Full-length pieces cannot ship by standard parcel service.

Check the delivery address

Use a verified commercial address with access for a 52-foot trailer. A home business is considered residential. If the carrier classifies the address as residential, a $275 fee applies.

Allow time for production

The current estimate is typically 2–3 weeks from the order date. Contact us before ordering if your project has a specific deadline.

Check the fit

Projection is the maximum depth from the mounting surface. Height is the vertical dimension shown in the drawing.

The CAD drawing divides the 9⅜″ overall height into a 6⅜″ upper section and a 3″ lower base. The lower base is 1″ thick, while the maximum projection is 4¼″. Check these changes in depth against your mounting surfaces and adjoining trim.

Installation & finishing

  • Fit the moulding to a clean, solid mounting surface. Do not install over wallpaper.
  • Cut and fasten with standard woodworking tools. Use PL Premium adhesive on every bedding face and butt joint, with the recommended screws or finish nails.
  • Finish the factory-primed surface according to Spectis instructions and paint promptly after installation. Fasteners and finish are sold separately.

How does a 12-foot length ship?

MD1015 ships by LTL freight in a crate. Use a verified commercial address that can accommodate a 52-foot trailer. A home office is still considered residential. Our shipping policy lists a $275 residential fee if the carrier classifies the address as a residence; delivery arrangements should be confirmed before ordering.
