MD1016 Profiled Base Trim
MD1016 profiled base trim combines a broad plain face with a small curved upper edge and a more detailed lower band. The profile measures 1½ inches at its maximum projection and 10 inches in overall height. Use the section drawing to plan its orientation and adjoining trim details. Each 12-foot polyurethane length arrives factory-primed white and ready for finishing.

Ships by freight
The 12-foot lengths travel in a crate by LTL truck freight. Full-length pieces cannot ship by standard parcel service.

Check the fit

The CAD drawing shows a 1″ upper detail, a 5 3/16″ central section and a 3 13/16″ lower section, totaling 10″ in height. Allow for the full 1½″ maximum projection and compare the complete profile with your mounting surface before cutting.
Installation & finishing
- Fit the moulding to a clean, solid mounting surface. Do not install over wallpaper.
- Cut and fasten with standard woodworking tools. Use PL Premium adhesive on every bedding face and butt joint, with the recommended screws or finish nails.
- Finish the factory-primed surface according to Spectis instructions and paint promptly after installation. Fasteners and finish are sold separately.

Inspect the shipment at delivery, report damage to the carrier immediately, and email sales@spectis.us the same day. Our shipping policy requires notification within 24 hours to qualify items for a claim.
Is there a warranty?
The Spectis warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for five years for the original end user when the product is used and installed under recommended conditions.
