MD1025 Profiled Head Trim
MD1025 profiled head trim combines a stepped curved upper cap, a broad flat face and a small rounded lower bead. Its 5½-inch height creates a defined horizontal finish above doors, windows or built-up trim compositions. The maximum projection is 1⅝ inches, with a 1-inch body thickness. Each 12-foot length is made from high-density polyurethane and arrives factory-primed white, ready for finishing.

Ships by freight
The 12-foot lengths travel in a crate by LTL truck freight. Full-length pieces cannot ship by standard parcel service.

Check the fit
Projection is the maximum distance from the mounting surface. Height is the overall vertical dimension of the profile.
The CAD divides the 5½″ overall height into a 1½″ upper detail and a 4″ lower section. The main body is 1″ thick and the cap projects a maximum of 1⅝″. Check adjoining casing, returns and mounting surfaces so the top cap and lower bead meet adjacent pieces cleanly.
Installation & finishing
- Fit the moulding to a clean, solid mounting surface. Do not install over wallpaper.
- Cut and fasten with standard woodworking tools. Use PL Premium adhesive on every bedding face and butt joint, with the recommended screws or finish nails.
- Finish the factory-primed surface according to Spectis instructions and paint promptly after installation. Fasteners and finish are sold separately.

Is there a warranty?
The Spectis warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for five years for the original end user when the product is used and installed under recommended conditions.
