Description
NP2233-50
High density polyurethane, molded for this order. The heavier post at the ends and at the turns. The rail stops against it. Caps finish the top.
Shipping
If the order includes a long rail, the shipment goes LTL freight.
A cap, a ball, or a hardware kit on its own typically ships UPS.
Freight needs a verified commercial address a 52-foot trailer can pull into. A house with a business in it does not qualify.
If the carrier calls the address a residence, a $275 fee is added, and you get a confirmation letter.

How it goes up
Use PL Premium (PLP100) on every bedding joint and every butt joint. A different adhesive can attack the urethane. Nails, screws, and adhesive are sold separately. Installation notes for balusters and handrails.

Questions
Is this the rail?
The heavier post at the ends and at the turns. The rail stops against it. Caps finish the top.
What is the ball rule?
On a guard, space the balusters so a 4 inch sphere cannot pass. Along open stairs the opening can be large enough for a 4 3/8 inch sphere. The triangle under the stair guard, where the bottom rail meets the riser and the tread, can pass a 6 inch sphere. A residential guard is generally at least 36 inches high, and a stair handrail sits 34 to 38 inches above the nosing. That is the spacing used in the International Residential Code and the International Building Code. Check the code where the rail will be built. The ball rule is for a guard. It does not apply to a decorative roof or to a piece sold as decoration only.
Which glue?
Use PL Premium (PLP100) on every bedding joint and every butt joint. A different adhesive can attack the urethane. Nails, screws, and adhesive are sold separately.
Can I return it?
No. It is made for your order.
