A large order can go freight
This one is over 10 inches in at least one direction. Buy a lot of them and the load may have to ship LTL freight instead of parcel.
If it goes by freight
Freight needs a verified commercial address that a 52-foot trailer can pull into. A house with a business in it does not qualify. If the carrier calls the address a residence, a $275 fee is added. You get a confirmation letter, and you can correct the address or pay the extra freight.
How long
The order goes to the Spectis plant in Manitoba the same day. Shipping from Canada typically takes two to three weeks.
Check the fit
Allow for the full 24″ projection, 5¼″ height and 5¼″ width. Projection measures how far the piece extends from the wall. Check the available overhang and compare the CAD drawing with your mounting space.
Installation & finishing
- Fit the piece to a clean, solid mounting surface. Do not install over wallpaper.
- Use ADH100 adhesive on every bedding face and joint, with the recommended screws or finish nails.
- Follow Spectis finishing instructions for the woodtone finish. Fasteners are sold separately.
- This product is decorative. Do not use it to carry a beam, swing, or other structural load.

What is it made of?
High density polyurethane. It cuts, nails, and glues like wood, and it is used inside and outside. Installed properly, it will not rot, warp, or crack. This piece has a rough sawn texture in a woodtone colour.
Can this go outside?
Yes. Most of these are used under an eave. The same material is used inside. Do not set it over wallpaper.
Which glue?
Use ADH100 adhesive on every bedding face and every joint. It is urethane based. Other adhesives can damage the product. Buy ADH100 adhesive. Nails and finish are sold separately.
Can I hang weight from it?
No. It is decorative. It is not a structural support. Do not hang a swing, a beam load, or anything else from it.
Can I return it?
No. It is made for your order. Confirm the profile against the drawing before you buy.
Will this ship to my house?
A few pieces usually ship by parcel. This profile is larger than about 10 to 12 inches, so a large quantity may have to go by LTL freight. What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect it when it is delivered and tell the carrier right away so they can file a claim. Email sales@spectis.us the same day. If we are not told within 24 hours, Spectis cannot qualify the items for a claim.
