Delivery address
LTL freight requires a verified commercial address accessible to a 52-foot trailer. A house with a business in it does not qualify. If the carrier classifies the address as residential, a $275 fee is added. A confirmation letter lets you correct the address or pay the extra freight.
How long
The order goes to the Spectis plant in Manitoba the same day. Shipping from Canada typically takes two to three weeks.
Check at delivery
Inspect the shipment on arrival and notify the carrier immediately of damage. Email sales@spectis.us the same day. Report damage within 24 hours for claim qualification.

The shaft measures 16″ at the bottom and 14″ at the top. Select accessories for each end's actual diameter. The 96″ dimension is shaft height; confirm the finished assembly height with your cap and base. The catalog image includes an optional neck ring, also sold separately.
The drawing shows fluting between smooth upper and lower sections. Check this model’s drawing for the maximum internal post size before ordering a wrap-around installation.
Factory-cut option: decorative columns only
This decorative column can be cut lengthwise into two halves to fit around an existing post or beam, then joined back together on site with ADH100 adhesive. Factory cutting is available for an additional $40 per column. Check the model drawing for internal clearance before ordering. This service is for decorative columns only; structural columns must not be split.
Installation & finishing
- Check the mounting space and existing support before fitting the column. Set it plumb; decorative columns do not carry building loads.
- Use ADH100 adhesive on every bedding face and butt joint.
- Follow the manufacturer instructions for fastening, joints and finishing. Paint after installation. Adhesive, finish and additional installation fasteners are sold separately.
