KIN03 uses a 5¼″ channel. The catalog compatibility table does not identify its matching post models. Send us your newel model or drawing so we can confirm the fit before you order.
Choose the correct version
This is the wood mounting version. Check the specified kit number and channel size against the newel drawing; channel length alone does not establish compatibility.
For concrete mounting, see KIN03-C. Rail-to-post connections use a separate KIR bracket kit selected for the rail profile.

Installation planning
Plan the connection
Follow the Spectis instructions for the complete railing assembly and the mounting substrate. Confirm hardware placement, kit quantities, and any additional project-specific fasteners before ordering.
Complete the assembly
Order rails, balusters, newels, caps, and adhesive separately. Use the specified adhesive on bedding and butt joints in the surrounding Spectis components. Read the handrail installation notes.
Shipping
Hardware-only orders
A hardware kit on its own typically ships UPS. Shipping from Canada typically takes two to three weeks; confirm timing for your order.
Orders with long rails
Orders containing long rails ship LTL freight. Freight requires a verified commercial address accessible to a 52-foot trailer. A house with a business in it does not qualify.
Residential freight
If the carrier classifies the address as residential, a $275 fee is added. You receive a confirmation letter so you can correct the address or pay the extra freight.
Check the delivery
Inspect the shipment when it arrives and report damage to the carrier. Email sales@spectis.us the same day; the store requires notice within 24 hours for a damage claim.
