The square shaft is 6″ wide and the nominal height is 60″. Check the exact model drawing for end trim, internal clearance and installed assembly dimensions.
Check that the hollow interior clears the existing post or beam before ordering a split installation.
Split-column option
This decorative column can be cut lengthwise into two halves to fit around an existing post or beam, then joined back together on site with PL Premium glue. Factory cutting is available for an additional $40 per column. Check the model drawing for internal clearance before ordering. This service applies to decorative columns only, never structural columns.
Installation & finishing
- Decorative, non-load-bearing column. An independent support must carry any building load.
- Use PL Premium adhesive (PLP100) on every bedding face and butt joint.
- Follow the manufacturer instructions for fastening, joints and finishing. Paint after installation. Adhesive, finish and additional installation fasteners are sold separately.

Delivery address
LTL freight requires a verified commercial address accessible to a 52-foot trailer. A house with a business in it does not qualify. If the carrier classifies the address as residential, a $275 fee is added. A confirmation letter lets you correct the address or pay the extra freight.
How long
The order goes to the Spectis plant in Manitoba the same day. Shipping from Canada typically takes two to three weeks.
Check at delivery
Inspect the shipment on arrival and notify the carrier immediately of damage. Email sales@spectis.us the same day. Report damage within 24 hours for claim qualification.
