The shaft is 8½″ square, with 10″ square end blocks and 96″ overall height. The drawing shows a 9″-high top block, a 16″-high lower block and a 60″ recessed panel. Maximum internal member sizes shown are 5½″ round or 3⅞″ square.
The drawing identifies a four-piece molded assembly shipped as one. Confirm any requested split configuration when ordering.
Split-column option
This decorative column can be cut lengthwise into two halves to fit around an existing post or beam, then joined back together on site with ADH100 adhesive. This service is for decorative columns only; structural columns must not be split.
Installation & finishing
- Check the mounting space and existing support before fitting the column. Set it plumb; decorative columns do not carry building loads.
- Use ADH100 adhesive on every bedding face and butt joint.
